Speedline’s HTC process is uniquely applied to Speedline magnesium alloy competition wheels.

The detailed process involves casting the wheel at a higher temperature than is usual for magnesium alloys, combined with rapid cooling of the cast wheel and subsequently a special heat treatment.

The combined process yields a wheel with a very tight grain structure, allowing reduced final wheel weight, without compromising on strength and stiffness.
